I got the 160gb version and its an OK recorder m8
only slight annoyance is the drive buzz's slightly from time to time but really only notice when room is quite :)

worth the money it is now though

Recorders like these, without a digital tuner, can be picked up for peanuts at the moment. There are lots of great bargains if you don't mind the lack of Freeview.

yeah ive got the 160gb model too and ive found that to be a slight bit annoying, so i turn it off over night. Does yours start spinning loudly even when you aint been using it and it will stop after a min or two?

@nara its all good if you have an external source to use as a tuner, im using a Eurovox.

I paid £70 for the 160gb model a few months ago :Angryfire lol As for the uspcalling is not bad at all good on dvds and ok on external sources, what do you think Rat?

does anyone know if this will play divx movies as well?

also is it multi region/ able to be made multiregion?

no divix on my 160gb version

Im sure there was a multi region hack for it though

search google or Ill have a search later for it m8

It is compatible with region 1 discs (press 0,1,2,3 on the remote with the tray out and then press play with an out of region disc in)
