DS lite--date error.

my daughter has got a ds lite with a R4-upgrade card and 4gig chip.
now all of a sudden getting a

error message on the top screen and will not play a thing.
any ideas?? and is it possible to do a reset on the ds??

not sure about error message but could try taking battery out, been replacing a shell last few days and when i put battery back in it asked all the questions like name, DOB favourite colour etc.

its the software on the R4, alot of the clones put out fixes some didnt.

check the url that is on the card for an update, if that doesnt help, then just set the date back 1 year on the ds.

just had the same problem .wat i did was format the card but not on the quick format put the R4i V1.23b English back on it and is working fine now :banana:

managed to take the battery out, for a reset.
now it seems ok.

When you take the battery out, the date resets.

Its well known to be an issue with the date, I had already given you the answer.

This is because 1.23b fixes the issue.
