A DRUNKEN postie falls flat on his back – on his round.
Astonished onlookers filmed the man staggering down the street carrying a bag of mail.
He tries in vain to stay upright while clutching a bollard and punching the air. Then the postman – in full Royal Mail uniform – keels over before struggling to his feet again.
A witness to the dopey delivery in Bolton said: “He made a first class fool of himself.” Another said: “He was totally drunk, swaying, shouting and singing.”
The video has been viewed 13,000 times on website YouTube.
A Royal Mail spokesman said the incident was “dealt with”.
