Dox-C DVB2000

Can anybody help me on this topic. a friend called with a Dbox c Dvb2000 softaware installed. As i havent used the installed software or seen a box like this, im very confused what to do with.
Can i put usual images on ie. Commado - Sportster
Or
Does it have to use funcard type thingy
Or
use the image on it and try a scan

Its a dbox1.
Preconditon is a amon cam and a funcard with dbox1 files.
Without them you can only watch the free channels.
