I've noticed that the Open ATV images is quite large ,almost 60Mb in fact so it doesnt leave much free flash space ,only around 4Mb .

On other Dm800 images its recommended to have as much free Flash space as possible for performance to be reliable ,I'd normally have 8-10Mb free .
I'm wondering if the receiver may run better with a few plugins uninstalled .

True,but the Open Atv backup is close to 58 MB ,its very large
