10. Basic remap of a VW 1.9 pd tdi BKC EDC16 using Excel calculators.
maps have been copied from an original file displayed in Winols and pasted into an excel document.Remap of a VW 1.9 pd tdi EDC16 BKC using a simple calculator and MS excel.
The following shows a basic remap of an EDC16 ecu for a VW BKC 1.9 pd tdi engine.
The ECU maps.
Each map is shown in three parts.
1. Original map.
2. Calculator map.
3. Modified map.
The original: The calculator maps are just percentage increase for the Modified maps. 1.00 = 0% so no change.
1.10 = 10% so a 10% increase for the modified map over the original map. etc.
The calculators: are shown like maps because different areas of the original map, require different percent increase.
The modified: map uses conditional formatting to show increases in RED. Axis changes are not by calculation, they are just a logical next step...
