i think it should be applauded that someone young has somehow found there way on here and put in a good few posts and is desperate to get back into the cable room which shows an interest in the techical side of things. but i also agree that that your account should be downgraded as this is an adult site and i am sure your parents would agree with the mods and admin on the adult room and so on. keep your chin up mate and keep your head down at school and i am sure your do well

Can one of the mods give the poor guy an answer re his question about cable modifications. I can see his point and he isn't arguing about non access to adult areas. Would hate to leave the guy feeling disgruntled and then he leaves. He certainly seems to have some worthwhile views.

Also, the patronising was a bit ott - fizzy drinks and all!

well you could say by allowing him access to the cable section you are in fact giving him the means to view the crappy porn channels that u need to be 18 to view
Now i know that not everything on this site is strictly kosher , but as a parent myself , do we really want to go down the road of allowing minors to view porn , pretty sure if we did the site wouldn't be around for long

I don't have any kids but this is the way I see it!

If I did have a kid and I paid for cable, I wouldn't want him hacking something to make it illegal. Nor would I want them having access to adult material. (If I wanted that...I'd give them access to my PC ) Kids should be kids and enjoy it while they can. When they become an adult and are allowed to make their own decisions then fine, let them have access to the cable section and let them hack their own cable. Because it will be their responsibility, not their parents!
