Donald Trump

Haaa where do you start with the media bias controlled by the liberals? Why don't you focus on his acievments since being President but you might need to research this as the media won't be too forthcoming, the left wing in the US are a disgrace, Don Lemon attacking Kanye West for sitting with white people and attacked his mental health problems and called his presence in the white house a minstrel show, the thing is black unemployment in the US is at an all time low thanks to Donald trump , west is pointing out failed democrat policies towards black Americans for 100 years
The fact is people in the UK are brainwashed by the biased left wing media establishment with the BBC at the helm

He's just a stooge .sadly he may get re elected

Comedy gold when he climbed those steps with toilet paper stuck to his shoe

Also the hair...laughable

The progressive leftists need stirring up now and again :).

Imho politics is way too complex to boil down to right and left, both are equally flawed, what can be said for one can usually be said for the other. Many people on both sides may be surprised how they agree with the other side on certain issues.

Seems we have a few right wingers amongst us, and certainly a few lefties as well. This is going to be interesting...

As for what Trump has achieved, i'd personally say not much. He has delivered very little for the country itself, but delivered massively for himself and his family. Please see the patents awarded to Ivanka following the trip to meet Xi of China. However I will give him that he's followed through on the majority of his campaign pledges. Although some have been absolute madness, the great wall for instance, quite funny how in testing it was breached multiple times.

Unemployment figures are spin, and can be manipulated greatly, check out the UK figures, lowest they've ever been, but in reality they're as high as ever. They are just worked out a slightly different way.

Seeing as slavery was only banned just over 100 years ago, I dont see how West is pointing out anything other than the failings of America, and not just the democrats. The only people any of these politicians care about, are themselves, and how much money they can make for themselves. 99% of them couldn't give a sheet about the common man of the country they're representing. And West is an absolute hypocrite, he is failing black people then blaming everyone else for it, West is just trying to ensure he stays within the limelight ready for the release of his new album, which he purposely delayed, as "It wasn't ready", and he was going to spend time in Africa finishing it off ><. Watch him drop it now, with a great fan fare to boot.

As for the media being liberals, TBH the reporting in the US is abhorrent on both sides. FFS Trump is on fox and friends weekly, and they lap it up, fawn all over him, then bash anyone that says anything against him. But in all honesty, it's the same from the other side as well, again the reporting is terrible, there is very little independent reporting, Glenn Greenwald is one of the few I would trust and read personally, for those who don't know who he is, he was the reporter that broke the Snowden story.

In all honesty, the world in general is becoming very insular, countries are only worried about themselves, the US, UK, many European ones, are worried about the rise of other countries, as it will effect the monopoly they have built over the years, this is why the trade war with China is happening, and why the US is happily invading many countries. They want to oppress others, whilst seeming that they are doing the right thing, when in actual fact all they're doing is plundering the natural resources of that country, that's why they're so annoyed at Iran. Iran has a massive oil reserve, and they're not willing to listen to the US or trade in the $. So the US is hitting them with sanctions and threats of war, when in actual fact they just want to Oil reserves, think about it, there is only so much oil in the world, and the US have the largest reserves of any country. Why do you think that is? What happens when the oil runs out, and you've got all the reserves...

As I said originally, Trump will win another presidential term, although im not sure if he will actually serve the term, but he will win it. The US is in such disillusion, and it's so badly split and divided, that they will stick with what they've got. And also history tells us the same, I can only think of 1 president in my lifetime who hasn't served 2 terms. The original George Bush, although George W Bush had 2 terms, and he was as mad as a box of frogs. Clinton was impeached for his intern giving him a blowie, and he got a 2nd term, Regan was an actor and he had 2 terms.

As long as he doesn't invade Wales, then I couldn't give a flying what happens. Neither that of Brexit, I just hope it doesn't give a rise to the right wing facism that we seem to be seeing. We're all the same, whether you're pink, green, blue, orange, white, yellow or black. A bigger concern imo is the Israel crisis, and the clear apartheid being enforced, which you would think of all the people who wouldn't want that to happen it would be the Israelites, especially after what the Nazi's did to them.

I wonder what the right would have thought if Obama had West in the White House. I couldn't care less what his mental state was, for me he came across like a rambling idiot and the whole thing was just a joke.

As for the media, well again it comes down to left and right, you say the media wont highlight Trumps achievements, Fox never shut up about them.

But then I’d have to hate myself. And I’m the only one that likes me, so for now it’s a no from me.

I have no problem with real liberals, the ones that allow others to have opinions. Progressives are something different and proper liberals are usually offended by being referred to as one.

Here's a collection of who I watch (or have watched) on YT, in no particular order. Maybe you agree, maybe you don't, but I'd like to be able to hold opinions without being put into a category because of it because I don't categorise anyone else because of their opinions.

I don't discount other people's views (although QT can be difficult to watch... BBC) but I believe these people speak sense and I regularly watch their content (apart from C. Hitchens, of course, who is no longer here).

  • Pat Condell
  • Jordan Peterson
  • Douglas Murray
  • Nigel Farage
  • Sargon of Akkad
  • Paul Joseph Watson
  • Cristopher Hitchens
  • Peter Hitchens
  • David Starkey
  • Tommy Robinson
  • Ben Shapiro
  • Milo Yiannopoulos

Some SJW will no doubt tell me it is wrong to listen to these people because they live in an echo chamber (I'll explain that if anyone wants). As for "fascism", well I could go on a bit but "fascism" is a form of control and progressives love nothing better than controlling speech, and thought so who are the real fascists?

Trump 2020.. Coming from a person that cant be open about my support of Trump..
I work in the credit card field and IT.. I had enough of liberal telling me Trump is bad and wrong.. The economy is amazing and now get job offer's left and right.. During Bush and Obama it was horrible..

Now I do agree we should have left and right.. I also believe we need prison reform and Weed legal in all states..

Honestly what damage has trump done?? I made 7000.00 couple months in stock's

Please we are not apologizing anymore and finally doing America First..

I want new Road's and Fast train's...

Just let the builder get stuff done... :)

There are a few in that list that often speak a lot of sense, Hitch is someone I could listen to all day long. Yep there are a few I don't like but it would be pretty boring if we all thought the same. You should have a go at the link below, usually these kind of things are vague but I was surprised by my overall rating.

That's not much is it?

“As for the media being liberals, TBH the reporting in the US is abhorrent on both sides. FFS Trump is on fox and friends weekly, and they lap it up, fawn all over him, then bash anyone that says anything against him. But in all honesty, it's the same from the other side as well, again the reporting is terrible, there is very little independent reporting, Glenn Greenwald is one of the few I would trust and read personally, for those who don't know who he is, he was the reporter that broke the Snowden story.”
Fox news is the only tv to lap it up as you call it, every other media outlet attacks him, there is also Maxine waters & Nancy Polosi calling on democrats to attack republicans at their homes & work, Glenn Greenwald has been accused of lying many times over the years by multiple sources.
“ I just hope it doesn't give a rise to the right wing fascism that we seem to be seeing” Fascism is inherent by the left at the moment the so called Antifa are todays Fascists they're wearing costumes; they wear masks; they carry bike locks and baseballs bats as weapons, Adolf Hitler and the Nazis were forerunners of modern liberalism the Democratic Party was the political shield of slavery and Jim Crow racism, There was a collectivist aspect to the ideology of the Nazis, who did call themselves "national socialists." The Left’s belief in government power also has elements of compulsion and prioritize social justice over individual liberty, Nazism, Fascism, and Socialism Are All Rooted in Communism all of them were merely different interpretations of Marxism
The policies of the Nazi Party followed the communist mode, he 25-point program included universal free health care and education, nationalization of large corporations and trusts, government control of banking and credit, the splitting of large landholdings into smaller units, and similar policies, Mussolini and Hitler both identified socialism as the core of the fascist and Nazi Weltanschauung, where I am going with this I am relatively confident by your comments that you support Mr Corbyn who supports socialism/communism

I don’t know everyone in the list but one stands out and that’s milo. I find him very obtuse. He says stuff for the shock factor only.

We’re all controlled one way or the other, by some form or another. None of us are free in any country, there is a clear them and us, especially in the UK. The parliamentary act allowing the people to be spies upon but the people who made the law not to be spies upon. What do they have to hide I wonder...

I’m no liberal, progressive, right or left, I listen to all opinions. I agree with some parts and disagree with other parts. As muggy said if we all thought the same then the world would be a boring place.

@boodyakka where did you copy and paste those “facts” from? As stated statistics and information can be manipulated to show whatever is the end goal. Orwell taught us this in 1984, it’s a shame that his vision is coming true now.

I presume you're American, and also a republican. The gentleman you've copy and pasted is a "Prominent conservative republican". I wouldn't say a good source for information personally, as he will have an agenda. A conservative republican agenda, or would you consider these to be "Alternative Facts".

'America’s economy is stronger … thanks to President Trump’s pro-growth agenda’
CLAIM “Three million jobs have been created since Trump took office,” booms Trump’s news release. He made the same claim at a rally in April.
REALITY What Trump does not tell people is that the rate of job creation under him is actually slower than the last four years under Obama. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, 2.188m jobs were added in 2017. Obama added 2.3m in 2013, 2.99m in 2014, 2.71m in 2015, and 2.24m in 2016.
Trump claimed that the unemployment rate has dropped to 3.8%. On Friday, the Bureau of Labor Statistics did indeed report the unemployment rate for May was 3.8%.
But what Trump ignores is that the unemployment rate is declining in part because of large numbers of people leaving the workforce rather than getting jobs. The percentage of workers in jobs or looking for work dropped from 62.9% in March, to 62.8% in April to 62.7% in May. Those levels have not been seen since the 1970s.

CLAIM “American families received $3.2tn in gross tax cuts.”
REALITY Trump has been making this claim since 2017, when he signed the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act into law. In fact, the bill delivers $1.5tn in tax cuts – and that number includes cuts that corporations will receive.
The disparity is because Trump does not include aspects of the bill which will actually increase taxes. Factcheck.org pointed out that the non-partisan joint committee on taxation estimates the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act will result in $1.456tn less in taxes over the next 10 years.
Some of that comes from the corporate income tax rate being cut from 35% to 21%, while the tax rate for wealthy individuals has been cut from 39.6% to 37%. The tax cut for corporations is permanent; the tax cuts for individuals will expire in 2026.
The bill is projected to add $1.46tn to the nation’s debt over the next decade. And the Washington thinktank the Center for American progress predictsthat Trump will save $11m to $15m a year under the tax bill, while Jared Kushner will save between $5m and $12m per year.

CLAIM “President Trump has rolled back unnecessary job-killing regulations such as the Clean Power Plan.”
REALITY Trump hails the government’s October 2017 decision to scrap the Clean Power Plan, which was introduced by Obama and was designed to cut US carbon dioxide emissions by 32% by 2030.
The Environmental Protection Agency had previously estimated the plan would prevent 90,000 child asthma attacks and 3,600 premature deaths a year by 2030.
While Trump claims the Clean Power Plan has already been rolled back, as of May 2018 the EPA was yet to finalize its repeal, and 19 states are challengingthe government’s move to scrap the plan – giving hope that Trump and Pruitt could be thwarted, or at least delayed.

‘America is winning on the world stage’
CLAIM “The president has taken action to confront aggression by Iran and its proxies.”
REALITY Trump has withdrawn from the landmark international deal on Tehran’s nuclear programme. In doing so he drew condemnation from the leaders of the UK, Germany and France, who made clear that Iran was abiding by the terms of the agreement.

‘America’s government is more accountable’
CLAIM “President Trump has confirmed the most circuit court judges of any president in their first year.”
REALITY Unfortunately for those not aligned with the president’s political views, this is correct. Republicans have rushed through the appointment of 21 such judges, and Trump plans to add 20 more by the end of 2018.
Most of those appointments are white men, and almost one-third have anti-LGBT records. The majority of Trump’s appointments are under 50 – meaning they could influence decision-making in the US for decades to come.

‘America’s communities are safer and more secure’
CLAIM Immigration and Customs Enforcement – Ice – has “made 110,568 arrests of illegal aliens – a 42% increase for the same timeframe in 2016”.
REALITY There is no mention of the disruption this has had on communities across the country – and on the terrible toll Trump’s actions have had on families.
Between 6 and 19 May, 658 children were taken away from their parents at the border, after the Trump administration announced that parents detained while entering the US without documentation would be separated from their children and prosecuted.

My source is somewhat less biased, but that could be argued either way. As stated you can dress up statistics however you want :) . Although the majority of those are from your own regulators and information providers within the US.
