Dolby digital/pcm/bitstream

Hey guys,

I bought the Logitech Z906 speaker system and i love it! I have a question about what settings i should put the TV and console too. Don't get me wrong the speaker system tells me when its decoding and when its stereo etc but want the best quality sound. So my TV has options for PCM/dolby digital and DTSNeo 2:5 so what should i set that too? My xbox has options for Bitstream out and DTS Digital surround sound and dolby digital

think i've answered it myself.

#1 = PCM (Lossless-Uncompressed)
#2 = DTS-HD MA (Lossless-Compressed)
#3 = Dolby TrueHD (Lossless-Compressed)*
#4 = DTS-HD (Lossy-Compressed)
#5 = DTS (Lossy-Compressed)
#6 = Dolby Digital 5.1 (Lossy-Compressed)**

And i believe you can't get true 5.1/7.1 from a optical cable. So bitstream would probably be better. I have proved that as when I changed from bitstream to pcm as the logitech device went to stereo when PCM was chosen.
