Hi, doing up a house, rest of walls have had the plaster chipped back to brick so are being dot/dabbed and skimmed.. but the 3 bedrooms are not.. going to use a belt sander to sand the walls down to paint but was wondering what grade sandpaper i should use???

Cheers..

better of startin with a rough grade like 80 grit then finish
off with a smooth grade like 240 grit or 360 grit

I prefer the oxide stuff than sandpaper, lasts longer. Just finishing a house now. Wallpaper off, unibond, plaster/coving. Replaced ceiling and spots.

Looks like new and nice profit for months work....but going to rent :proud:
