Docsis 3 ????

Just read this on site trying to find out for sure what docsis i am on.
Is it b*ll*ocks.
I've only heared of docsis 2 as the highest and thought it was still far off.
Moving customers to a 10Mb Broadband service is part of a wider progression towards services with even higher speed and greater bandwidth. ntl’s fibre-rich network means that broadband speeds of between 30Mb and 50Mb are possible through DOCSIS 3.0 (cable) or ADSL 2+ (copper). ntl has the flexibility in its dual local network to offer this type of connection in the future.

3 Com Modems are Docsys 1.0
Moto and Terron are Docsys 1.0 and 1.1
NTL: 100 Docsys 1.0 and 1.1
NTL: 120 DualMode Docsys and Eurodocsys 1.0 and 1.1
NTL:200 as NTL:120
NTL:200 as NTL: 120 + Docsys/Eurodocsys 2.0
NTL250 as NTL 200 with new chipset

Any way.
Is there an absolute answer to find out my exact docsis?
It's crazy.Someone just a few miles down the road to me who is on ntl is excw.
I thought i was pure ntl but am not that sure now.
i see the ambit 120 are dual euro and docsis.
I'm trying all i can to get theses surfboards going.
I want to see a dosis map?????

How do i tell by the numbers.
I always assumed i was pure ntl cos thats all i rember coming down the street.
Mind you have lived here for 18 years? of sh*t more like 20.

there is a few ways
what box do u have
1000.2000.4000. samsung all xc/w
4010,4001 samsung true ntl
or look at ur net id
true ntl use 000001 etc
most start with 000
xc/w us 401**

I got all 888 on my stb box.
It's been like that for weeks.
I never watch it anyhow
I'm sure i'm bromley cos they follow the number from 1 being bbc 1 etc.
I'll ask my daughter tomorrow,just to check.
So i'm euro docsis? then.
I nevr knew that.
