do you think people are starting to relax there social distance too much now?

i think it should be longer too, i cant think of any part of the covid emergancy that they have handled well but it is late on saturday night lol. there is probably another balls up on the cards. ill allow the other more impatient people to test it out for me for a while lol. think ive still got 7 weeks to go from my gps own advice to me. not govt advice. when he told me to restart the 12 weeks he said expect that to be extended, more than setting that as a target date for a big blow out

Last time I went shopping, I noticed a lot more people wearing medical-style masks. I've even seen someone wearing a face shield earlier in the week.

To date, I've not seen anyone using an industrial mask. Apart from me.

My dad had a heart operation a few years back, and has a chronic lung condition. Just as well I bought Screwfix's last two JSP Force 8 respirators. I was going to leave it a few days too. Can't risk passing it on to him, he said "If I get this, I'm dead.". I live in what was the "Granny Annex" of the house, so I even have lever taps,l I can operate them with my elbows :). Have to take all the precautions.

I managed to get 12 pairs of Marigold kitchen gloves from an online retailer. Much better than than my disposable gloves (from the days of when I was into mountain-biking and using when changing bearings, and stuff). Just wash with soap when you get back in.

i think the marigolds are a great idea i wish i could get e realroper mask even for me ma, she came her to stay with us over this covid to be aa bit safer as i know how my own friend dont give shite, it was about my own mental healthwas gonna get hurt or hurt someone else.
ive told her when she gets called to be tested, if that test is clear we have been lucky and should go to cocooning in one room isolatedproperly, dunno if she give a fk what i think though cause she bounces round these shopping complex like shes in aladins cave

becaause y wife explain to her how thigs are getting to me she agree to come and stay. i wanted her tolive here with us long before covid as i know plenty of dirtbags who would she an older person living alone aoppourtuinty for burgulary or robbery real scumbags. i hope she tays long after this is over

because she came here to be safer i still feel the huge responsibilty of her not getting sick, if she wasnt here id have proabably broke and went about my socialissing by now, which i miss just the craic not to mention the other thigs that goo on

Marigold kitchen gloves are great, easy to put on, strong.

Just need to wash them with soap when you get into the house.

I have large hands and the thin nitrile gloves often tear. Marigolds are the way forward :).

I had a bit of a time getting "L" but could probably use "XL".

am evena bit suspicious about the effectiveness of the hand santizer gel, 99.9% of virus but do they know enough to be sure coronalvuris isnt in that .01% if its new and the studys into it are still ongoing

me mum still has a few years before retirement age but this is t now he wont rturn to work again. sshe was alredy feeling bad having that job even though it was just to keep her busy, sshe fellt badly about doing it when a younger person really would need it more.

Is it just me or does anyone else have the feeling that the weekend is fast approaching?
😂 😂😂

lol i know it is a very small chance coronavirus would be in that.01% that it doesnt kill. how could they be 100% sure the sanatizer kills it when its a new thing though

I have read that the coronavirus has an envelope structure which alcohol can attack. Hand sanitisers with more than 60 per cent alcohol content are most effective

Why not just wash your hands?

I do that too.

Just being extra careful.
But the gloves dont do anything, you can't get through skin contact, you get it from breathing it in or through touching it then touching your face, gloves don't stop that.

The reason why medical where them is to stop cross contamination between patients as they change gloves between them.

industrial mask
