Hi - Ive been hunting around for a decent enigma image for this old box- got one but i cant add cccam through the downloads menu and i cant find a tar.gz cccam file that seems to actually put cccam on the box manually either. Does anyone have a recent backup image with cccam already installed please?

yip as above mate commando gotta be the best image for that little box
cannot fault it

Thanks - I have installed the image and in the softcam menu i can only see mgcamd - no mention of cccam at all? Im not great with the commando images so maybe its me but where do i access cccam? I can ftp into the box and can see the cccam stuff on there but even if i put in a cccam.cfg i wont be able to activate that softcam/?

mgcamd is all you need @gooner71 works fine for me :)

you covered it mate nowt else needed

strange that a server using cccam for cable however.

I take it you know there is an updated commando image that Al posted last month in downloads. It wont have any cams installed tho.

If you want to have a go at building up manually to install the cam etc.

CCcam goes into var/bin. Make sure attributes are 755

CCcam.cfg the config files to var/etc and enter your server details.

Enable it in blue menu.

Set your location and scan channels. Hard for me to remember but im sure there an Autobouqets plugin.

i think ive finally managed to get cccam installed manually - ive added the correct .cfg file and still not working - its either a network or server error now!! Done all i can - thanks for the help!

If anyone wants to install cccam manually they need to download one of the cccam packs - ftp the cccam.ppc file to var/bin then rename it to just cccam (remove the extension) - change the attributes to 755. Working out what file to put in var/bin was the part i couldnt find any info on!!
