dm 500 help

hi all.
anouther new user driving you all mad,lol
i have just got a genuine dm 500 hd up to now
i have loaded a image on it set it to work and move my 1.2 dish with a 36v motor via a v-box and iv'e scanned all the sats and chns.
and it moves the dish very fast and chns open very quick
and it gives good audio and the picture is first class at the moment
i can only open the fta chns, i need help from this point with any
tutorials or info on how to load keys on this receiver, and how to upload
the channel list from the receiver to sort the channels with the dreambox
editor i found, and how do i set the box to use cccam's
a lot of questions from me as a new user of a dreambox any help and
advice would be very helpfull so i can get the best from the receiver

ok .
what image are you using?
You need too go into your network ipaddress on dreambox to get than(connected to router/laptop).
Once you have ip address you need to go into dreambox edit and put this in options then test connection.

hi m8,
many thanks i loaded Merlin-2.Excalibur images after i read some images were
unstable. i will give your advice a test and let you know what happens,
i take it you meant type the ip in the options,, sorry to sound daft ,lol
just to add to the post:----
i tested it and it said sucessfull port 80

just to add even thought the editor is connecting
i still cant upload my chn list to sort it in to a good
order, i only flashed the image is there something else
i need to load before i can upload the chn list
