ditv 1000 problem

hello everyone wondering if u can help me i finaly got my hands on a ntl box (ditv 1000) and when i swith it on it goes straight to err3 can anyone help me

hi mate could be nv ram or dry joint on the attmels reflow nvram first

yes mate reflow them cover the legs of the chip with flux and aply heat either a fine soldering iron(be carefull) or hot air workstation the chip just behind the battery cypress i think if not do the same to the attmells front right
