Digital Worldz 1.6.1 image hanging when trying to access file mode

Hi Guys,

Great work on the images - have just got into the dreambox game.

I have a problem with the DW 1.6.1 image, I have mounted a drive on my PC through CIFS, which data will get written to fine.

However, when I try to access the recorded data and go into File Mode from the main menu, the box hangs and nothing happens. You then have to pull the plug on the thing.

Any ideas anyone??

After you select File Mode, normally if you press OK then root you will be able to navigate to your mount point. Can you do this or is the box totally unresponsive?

Check the settings on the mount are ok. Try deleting all the mounts and mount it from scratch using the web interface. There should be a green 'tick' next to the mount if it has successfully mounted.

Maybe try reflashing the image again.

Cool thanks for the cmoments devilfish - tried all of the above with no joy - will reflash tonight - hopefully a rogue flash and all will be sorted. Ta PP
