Dell Latitude login issue.

Anyone able to help please.

My daughter has changed her Win10 Dell Latitude password as her brother saw it over her shoulder....kids ..argggh.

Now she can't remember it and cannot get into the laptop.

I tried a few recovery methods by putting laptop into legacy mode and enabling usb boot and various recovery methods but still no joy. Needless to say I never made a recovery disk when she got the laptop.

Anyone able to suggest a method or programme they have had success with.

I really don't want to go down fresh install route as she will lose homework projects and it's not ideal.

There are a few utility discs out there that will reveal the password.

Ive used ophcrack before, it was quick and easy to use.
Download...burn to disk and boot laptop/pc from the cdrom.

Sorry I should have mentioned that the latitude has no disk player usb only. Also finding certain programmes like ophcrack won't do Win10.
