Just need a bit of advice, I have a Dell Inspiron 8600, the hard drive has packed up so I have just ordered a new one, will I be able to re install the Dell MS XP operating system from my Dell discs onto it?.

yes you can make. simple really. just plug the dell discs in and restart the pc, should ask you to press any key to boot from cd and away you go.

Dear all,
Just to let you know it I have got it all up and running, The problem on the old drive was it would take 15 minutes to boot into windows, then anything yo tried to do would take for ever. This new drive runs as quick as the original one did when new.
