Phone Unlocking Dejan cables

I've just bought the set of Dejan cables for unlocking Nokias from Divineo (They are sending a CD out with them that has the NU2000 soft and some other stuff for Elvis and Ericsson), but I was wondering if the cables can do anything else ?
Does anyone know where I can find the software needed to repair dead phones ?

I'm off to play with my new toys now...
