Chaps, i'm after some DDr 400 memory for a motherboard that has come my way. I dont know if the mobo is faulty, got it off a m8 of mine. Its a KT4AV-L board with an AMD xp 2400+ processor on it and he could not get it to boot, so im on the bum for some memory to try and get it going.

So if any of yas has some or know of someone that wants to part with some (spare/cheap), giz a shout.

Have you tried resetting the bios to see if it will boot then, you use the jumper next to the battery.

power up the board without anything attached, ie memory, hard drives ,floppy, etc, you should then get a series of bleeps which indecate no memory.

if you get nothing IE sound or display, it will be board or chip which is down.
