I was upgrading my nokia box2 by ftp'ing the image to /tmp and ugrading via the remote conrtrol - unfortunately it locked up and did not flash.

I have tried usinf IFA but it locks up on 14% of the backup - anyone got any ideas or is this box dead, I thinkl the flash was erased, so there would not be anything to back up?

does the box work at all? if the image has been erased then what are you backing up

The box powers up - but no picture, the box screen shows Bmon V1.0 etc...
and Lade.

I am using IFA to get a working image ono the box - as I expained when ftp'ing to /tmp and using remote to reflash - it failed.

So I do not think there is a valid image on the box.

IFA fails whilst trying to do a backup - I don't want a backup but IFA insists on doing one.

Any ideas?

Have you tried using a different version of IFA? Theres version 1.56 and version 2.0.....

This is what is coming out of IFA

Use [DLMURL="http://www.dboxservice-hallenberg.de/freedownload.php?downloadid=3"]THIS[/DLMURL] version of IFA - I dont think it goes through the backup process with this version.
