3DS custom firmware

has anyone got this on there 3ds . reason i am asking is from what i have read once loaded i won,t need the gateway card anymore
i have just got my little one a 3ds with 7.5 firmware on it.
i already have a 3dsxl running a gateway and would like to install CFW on one and gateway on another
save me buying another card

anyone got or recommend a CFW as there is a few versions around now

Never knew you could load custom firmware now, Only on certain firmware?

you use the blue card to flash the 3ds and the red card to play the games

i have just got my little one a 3ds with 7.5 firmware on it

you can flash that one and then downgraded it to firmware 4.5

but you still will have to use the red card to play the games

its just a new card out that supports the new 10.3 firmware ,, same as the sky3ds cards

gateway is going to bring out a fix soon for the 10.3 firmware ect

but the sky3ds cards are a lot easer to set up than the gateway ones

so the gateway cards spud can you load a 64gig microsd card and fill it with roms and just select which game you want to play? auto saves etc etc

think it only supports 32gb for as i know never seen anything about using a 64gb

but yes to your question about the games

best one out and simple to set up is the sky3ds card

so on one had any installed . there is a few versions of CFW out and was just asking to see if anyone used any
guess i will just have to try a few out and see

Let us know how it goes, I checked my kids and his is on a higher firmware at the moment but I might look into getting a cheap 2nd hand one for this if it works. Good luck @turner brown
