I have a Sagem 1x box which after flashing (with several images) continuously resets after displaying "Lade"

At a loss as to what the fault is and I am considering binning this one, however if anyone has any ideas heres the bootlog that it generates:

Thanks for any help: maggie :

Anyone any ideas . ....It now doesnt want to flash an image on the box using ifa . It keeps resetting without flashing across. Is this looking like a motherboard problem?

I've heard of this before and it was a motherboard problem in the end. When did the problem start, have you ever had the box working?

thanks for the reply . It arrived in debug mode as usual . Flashed it with sportster . then it started . Ive actually had it working for about half an hour but the problem came back. Strange

In that case I'd contact the person you got it from as it sounds like it's definitely faulty. If you brought it as working they should replace it if they have others, or give a refund. If you brought it as faulty your best bet is to sell it on again as faulty, loads of people buy faulty boxes as the tuner, lcd display and power supply are probably fine and these can be used as spares.

post the bootlog mate and mgb or liam might have a look at it.
insert only the null modem cable.load dbox bootmanager untick evrything so only only COM-Port is ticked and set to 9600 then press start and post what it says in the com window

the boot log is in the post . You will see it only reaches the part

Scanning JFFS2 FS: ... done.
FB: ready

Then restarts

Thanks again all

i dont know what this is worth, but i have had my box an age, and recently mine has started doing this (after i have been playing with images, and usually from switching from enigma to neutrino with the method of ftping the image to the box and updating that way.

the way i got past it is set up the older ifa (hate the newer one, my preference) then when i powwer box up the image that is faulty will boot and restart , on the restart it will flash (but it seems to take an age on my nokia tho, like 15 mins!!!!!)
