Connecting to PC

Hi guys

Had my Eurovox Max a while, but been happy with it working straight out of the box. I now quite fancy having a play and connecting to my PC. Only problem is I've only got a USB to 9 pin connector, and this just doesn't seem to work well. I know I need a null cable or something, but what exactly should I type into my search on ebay to make sure I get the right one?

Be carefull when buying a Null Modem cable, some places will sell a straight 9 pin to 9 pin cable.

You need a "RS232 Null Modem Cable"
You need to make sure that pin 2 (RX) is connected to pin 3 (TX) and pin 3 is connected to pin 2. (the one in the above link does not state its a Null Modem one).

Then you need to get a USB to Serial lead. Don't skimp on this as the cheaper versions do NOT have any drivers for your PC and this is where they fail when trying to connect to the EV.
