Clone starview box

Anyone here heard any info about a guy on ebay selling cloned starview boxes? Apparently the chip blows when you flash them. Is there any truth in this?

why would anyone want to make a clone of these they are s**t anyway and you can pick the real deals up for pennys a few people at my work all chipped in to buy 10 and got the 10 for £700 so they all got theres for £70 which is damn good and even i wouldnt mind paying that price.But to be honest i would only havin in the bedroom cant live with the epg for in the main room thats why i have the dreambox
