whats the best way to clean a tft monitor

well i use a bit of furniture polish and a duster

warm soapy water on a peace of kitchen towel ring it out wash and dry with lint free cloth comes up a treat.

never use chemicals it will make it streaky.

A light spray of glass cleaner wiped off with kitchen towel

dunk in a bath of soapy water rince with shower head (cold water) leave to drip dry for 3 hrs
comes up looking like new

only problem it dont fooking work after


some day i will find out how to clean these things lol

my mrs cleans mine with pledge

mine aint streaky its in great condition

leave it to the MRS anyhow they always know best about cleaning i dont even know what the word actually really means

I use one of those dusters which you can replace the dusting bit on. Sorts dust out no problems.

If you've got a problem with finger marks and water stains (eg from sneezing or reading the fun and laughter room whilst drinking) you can get wipes from computer stores specifically designed for tfts. What ever you use just don't press hard, you could damage your screen...

I got some damp wipes from whsmiths they are made for the job and do work mate.......
