I've bought a new mobo for my pc. Will have to do a clean install. I know I can do a clean install with the current motherboard and microsoft will recognise the pc without any issues but and activate it without me doing anything.

So the question is will i either have to buy a key or do something creative to get win10 installed again?

It should be OK with a MB swap although if the HDD controller is radically different it might not boot.

Might be different if there is a TPM involved.
