Not familiar with this unit but in the product description in the ad for the power injector above it says it's designed to work with the power adapter that was suppplied with the AP - what I take from this is that the original round dc power plug goes into the power injector which then provides power over Ethernet allowing you to place the AP in a convenient location away from a power source, meaning you will still need the original power adapter

Do you not have the original dc adapter?

We have PoE network switches installed at work so no dc adapters were ever purchased for the units. I did notice that the power injector required a psu of its own but was not aware it would need to be the original psu.
 
It doesn't need to be it's own it would just need to be equivalent
Any Poe injector with 48v out will work
