Have been looking at getting linux box (TM 800HD) for C/S but it doesn`t appear to have a CI slot. Is there another box from TM (or another manufacturer) that will include both?

The TM9100 is a linux receiver that has CI slots, but is not HD, so does the DM7020

is there any specific reason for a CI slot?

Thanks for reply. I was hoping to include HD in the spec also.
The CI slot was for a Diablo Cam and to have flexibilty with
official subscription cards in future (IE in differant cams).
Unless you tell me that the smart card reader will cope with
differant types of smart cards etc (IE Conax, Viaccess,Seca etc)??

the internal slots cope with the majority of official viewing cards m8

at the moment the TM800 slot is inactive, but this should be fixed in the next image release, due out any time now
