Long-time no speak, hope you are getting on ok with the chooks? My Muscovy's have started nesting now so hopefully should have some baby ducklings soon. She's sat on 12 laid 19 in total but I removed 7 so she doesn't have too many in the nest. This is her first clutch so not sure on what the hatch rate will be etc but so far she's doing well. Fingers crossed as the kids are really looking forward to the baby duckling’s lol.

If you get chance post some pics up of your chicks would be nice to see how they've improved since being rescued.

Hi does anyone keep chickens here?

What are the keeping costs involved is it worth it? Seen some good value runs and chickens are not expensive to buy locally. Is it worth the work for the eggs you get.

I never knew anyone with chickens until 1 friend told me he kept 4 no cock ,he said not aloud ,mad eh,my dogs would kill them lol then we could eat them lol.
he told me when the molt they look sick lol,no chickens for me unless im eating them lol.
