hi could you please let me know...how important is it to use a checksum corrector?
I've only started researching ecu flashing, so please be nice..

if you write a map file and dont correct the checksumm you can end up with a bad write and a dead car , if you dont know how to recover an ecu from a bad flash then ur screwed to put it blunt as its gonna cost you to get it sorted and most tuners hate that you have been messing so will charge you more to correct the mistake
