You could buy a seperate external caddie and 120gig drive and that would cost around £60. Depends if you want a ready built one.

hmmmmmm what do i do??? these drives are 650 miliamps powered. but my headunit usb in the car is 500 miliamps maximum.....

Prob from the manufacturers website or maybe in your lappy manual. are you worried that you may not have enought power from usb to Run one of these???

Yes, i dont want to buy one of these drives if its not going to work properly on the laptop. thanks for your reply shaun127

they should run ok from a lappy mate. How olds your lappy, if its got USB1 it will still run only alot slower transfering stuff to and from, than USB2.

its always run on the main power supply, the battery is u/s

By the look of it it has 4 USB2 ports on the back top right hand side?

make sure your windows is running service pack 2

if it doesnt have enuff power you can get a twin type A usb connector to plug into 2 usb ports and it will then sufficiantly power it up
