Channels gone, is this the end?

Hi Guys

I've got a dm500c with dw2.1 on it.

last few days my channels seem to be disappearing, 1st most of the movies and now all movies and sports, I'm not getting any "channel not found" msgs, just a blank screen.

seem to have all fta plus a few others like disney which i'm sure isn't fta but i could be wrong.

i've done numerous new scans with different settings, all the channels appear to be found ok, but still only getting a blank screen on all movies and sports.

any ideas?

any help is as always much appreciated.

read the threads on nagra 3 around the forums; that is the most likely cause.

You are most certainly N3 mate... You are probably in the Northwest: Bolton, Manchester, Cheshire, Widnes sort of area, no?

Got to agree with that...it's only free tv channels, not the end of the world and tbh, most of them are pants.

Will I miss it when it happens here...not really and when we get freeview then I wont miss it at all.

ok chill out, it was just an expression. and was meant regarding my cable TV not life in general.

thanks to the guys who gave a serious answer without the dramatics.

guess it's time to pay, I've had a good run can't complain.
