Channel 4 reported to have won Freeview slot

Can't see mention of this elsewhere on the forum so have attached link to article from this mornings edition of The Times which says Channel 4 have won the latest slot. ( To be used for More 4+1 in the short term).

Where's the monopolies commision I'd love to see Universal and Turned given a chance on freeview instead of all these bloody repeats just trying to keep competition away from freeview

Ch4 arent even using all their space. What about more4 and quiz call promos until 12? Theres going to be another waste of space if more4+1 is coming...

Well Ch5 had big plans for their new channel FIVE.2 which they are going to now have to re-think, but they have now also been granted a broadcast licence for FIVE.3 so they need even more space asap!!! Ch4 really put a spanner in the works for ch5's expansion plans.

i heard about five.2 but not more4+1. it seems a bit of a waste as does E4+1 couldn't they sell the slot off to another channel to give us more variety
