i have 2 360's one has the rrod which has been repaired ( only lasted 5 months ) have repaired myself 2 more times but always get the same result after a few hours
i also have a 360 the crashes out and freezes
is it possible to change the drives over from the rrod to the freezing one ??
if so is there a tut i have everything i need just no idea on how to
many thanks as i have looked on the 2 sites i know and cannot find what i need

Yes mate you can swap the drives over. You will need to spoof them unless they are the same make model of drive in which case just swap the pcbs over.

No worries mate.

There was a tut in the downloads but as you are no doubt aware everything was removed. I'm pretty sure either Oggy or Diddy posted a walkthrough in the main 360 section somewhere though ;)

If you tell us what drive you have and what you want to replace it as, Ill write a more accurate / specific step by step guide for you.

The important thing is, the spoof has to be applied last to Hitachi's otherwise changing it cannot be done in toolbox as it reports as a non Hitachi and Toolbox will error out.
