change from ntl to telewest

i am moving house i have ntl but moving to telewest area looking for a tut on how to change my ntl box to enable telewest

for a start your Net ID will need changing to your new area............

Unfortunately you won't get the 4001 to work in Telewest-it wont take the update at all. The only ones that go straight over with a forced update are the 1000Phase1b. There's a sticky at the top of the Genaral Cable section telling you which boxes work in which area, have a look at that and get yourself a new box.
