Hell of a weekend . So lets give a brief background
family is to be sharing Sly now that Vir is N3. Mums none to happy her sky is being used but hey needs must
5 x dreamboxes.
2 x me
1 x sis
1 x brother
and of course one at mums to share from.
All boxes imaged , and by using a test C line i got them working fine.
Went down to Mums. BK done to the Dm500 and wh1te card decodes in it.
Ran out of time to setup dyns and open port as england game was comingon and drinking time kicked in .Also itsa netgear so like 0 problems there to open up p12000 when i go back .
Now the Questions
1. F line for mums box for us all to share. Do we all need a user name and password or does 1 username password do all . is there any effect on the card / box for us all to have the same C line ?
2. does it make any diff that im connecting 2 boxes to mums from my home. should it be i connect 1 to mums then share that one internal to the kids room ?
And thats about it . nothing to techy here just a little overview on the lines required and if any issues only setting up 1 f line on the box and the rest with c lines pointing to it
