Can't Record to DVD

I have two dboxes and I can't record onto dvd from either of them. I have a scart connection from the dbox to the tv and a scart from the dvd recoreder to the tv. Am I doing something wrong or should it be connected a different way.
Any help would be appreciated.:banana:

I don't have a DVD recorder, but I would think you have to connect the D-Box to the DVD recorder, and then from the DVD to the TV, just like you would do with a VCR.

what i have to do is when i am recording to dvd i have to make sure that my source input device is set to ext

I bought a macrovision removing scart lead from ebay :BLOBBY:

Read the thread linked earlier in this thread. The file saa7126.o can be downloaded from the thread. Place this file in the following directory:
/lib/modules/2.4.31-dbox2/misc

Please make a backup copy of the file first. Then replace with the new one.

Once this is done, you should have no copy-protection issues when recording to a DVD recorder. Out of interest, which DVD recorder do you have?
