Can this version be fixed???

hi,

A friend has got an sb4100 modem and i've not seen this firmware version before. I can't find any info on this and was wondering if its possible to fix "SB4100-0.4.9.4-SCM02-NOSH"?? If so, which files does he need and what guide does he need to follow?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi mate, i've used the search facility, but could not find any info regarding modifying the sb4100 with this firmware:-

Software Version: SB4100-0.4.9.6-SCM01-NOSH
Hardware Version: 1
MIB Version: II
GUI Version: 1.0
VxWorks Version: 5.3

you will probably need a max232 cable to flash new firmware on it but its worth trying to use netboot first u could also try the bitfile method look in the download section for all your needs!
