1. I was on ebay searching for cable modems and it showed cable modems with (AMBIT) PRE UPDATE can someone please tell me wot this means.

2. I want to buy a surfboard n i came accross one with the following name MOTOROLA SB4100i-BG SURFBOARD CABLE MODEM is this ok to buy.

3. And also people are sayin that they can get up to 10 MB on their modems can any1 tell me how you get it. For example, can you scan for macs n find some 10 MB macs.
If so, wot modems can get these speeds the ambits or the surfboards.

pre update means it as not been update to the new software,,but i would only buy it if its a 200
