was looking at trying out a sat system but unsure where to start etc.

i want as much as i can get and as close to sly as i can would like all the prem football i can receive.

was checking out ebay and cam across this but have no idea wot it does?

it is a satellite card that goes into a pc
u would need cams etc with that plus u still need the dish, lnb
put a few bob more to it and get a technomate all u do with that is add patches which opens up encrypted channels

id just buy a sat reciver box and a dish m8 if its for footy etc youll want it on big tv probably roud:

Yes try a technomate, and dish onto 19.2 .(even the small sky dish ok for this pending location).5200 usb patchable,, or whatever to suit your needs, some nice receivers at moment and all info on forum, lots of stuff available,

This card is also dvb-s and not dvb-s2, so it couldn't be used to get any HD channels either.

if you want football id go for a 90cm Motorised dish and a Linux Sat box like Dreambox. most sat games will be live from 1w-28.2e and with a bigger dish you could even pick up 7w which would give you access to every single game on a saturday at 3pm

think i read a thread though you'd need a 1.8m dish which is big!!
