I've went and adjusted the brightness and the contrast on my TV as i was trying to see if it made any changes on this piece of equipment i had plugged into it at the time and now i can't seem to get it back to the way it was. ( 50 inch rear projection)

I think Blade runner DVD has a screen calibration test thing on it, any one have any ideas or know what i could download to do the balance?

Thanks

What model is it mate?

The guys over at AVFORUMS should get u up and running in no time mate.

Some DVD lense cleaners have brightness/contrast calibration screens. Only a couple of quid.

The THX calibrations on the dvd are not very good. You will find that it will calibrate it for the particular film you are watching. If you play a different dvd then the picture may not be as good.

The most recommended software to use to calibrate your tv is called Digital Video Essentials.

That is what a lot of the engineers use who come out and do it for a fee.

Its fairly easy to find and I grabbed it a few days ago.

Its all there..you don't need to worry about that.

I find it quite 'amusing' that I advise the software to get and where to get it from but its other members that are getting all the praise!!! Strange!!
