Probably a network print server ur thinking about.
Some modern routers come with a printer port already on them.

Can u not just share the printer on pc1, and access from pc2/3/etc
(would save u some cash).

Yea m8, I been wanting to put Vista on my own pc,
but been avoiding doing so because of all these 'minor' problems.
Was just reading about a sound issue in games aswell ... ffs!
Oh well ... guess I'll wait until Vista SP1.

Hi mate
I have a Linksys PSU4 Printserver, it allows the connection of a USB printer and up to 4 more computers. it is complete and does exactly what you want.

Gimee a shout if you are intrested I willl put in Trades.

Cheers G

The guys are right, what you want is a Hardware printserver. If you are strapped for cash and have a true NOS you can create a software printserver and use your existing cables. The obvious downside is that network resources are wasted managing printservers.

Not all printers are compatable with all print servers. Make sure you check the manufacturer's website before you buy.
