Why do you want a 2Ci model ???

A six month DigitAlb card only costs £80 or there abouts
80cm dish approx £25
Motor (supports DisEq 1.3) approx £80
The Patch costs £0
MTI LNB approx £26
Cable................doesn't specify the quality, so could be cheap.....

I own a TM1500Ci, which seems to be popular and well supported at present, looking elsewhere all I see are posts with people having problems with updating keys etc......but time will only tell.

Personally I'd get a cheap 1000 model if I didn't need the two card readers. As the specifications are indentical on the complete range of TM recievers apart from the CI adapters.

did post it twice sort i would try to get as many possitive replys as i could still not sure what to do as no one posted a reply got me thinking this system must be not to good thanks for bothering to reply ...

i would also recommend the 1500 model

the 7755 has embedded viaccess, digitalb relies on having a conax card reader so you would either have to patch the receiver to change one of the embedded card slots, then patches and updates are not as common as the 1000 series models

you could get a 1000Dsuper with the add on card reader for a digitalb card, also gets a new patch more than any other models in the series. A 1500 motorised kit with 6 month digitalb card would cost the same ammount but is much better supported

just looking through the links thats advertising this system and have seen something which has got me thinking.

the 7755 is a twin viaccess embedded receiver, the only way to change this is to 'patch' the receiver with unofficial software, which for a dealer or supplier to do is illegal and carries a max 5 year stretch. the digitalb card WILL NOT work in a viaccess slot. i cant see any online firm selling receivers with an active patch on them for the above reasons, people on here have bought 'patched' receivers from ebay to find that they are not actually patched and they have to do it themselfs, even though this is a really easy thing to do its still used to sell the stuff so youd expect it to be done for you
