buying new pc help

I live in manchester and i;m going to buy a new pc , I have £500 to spend, I am told that the cheapest place to get one is from bowlers computer fair . I hope to get a fast pc with a flat monotor & with a cd rw & dvd rom in it . can anyone give me advice on what i can expect for £500 & is bowlers the best place to get one from ? or can anyone tell me a cheaper place to get one & does bowlers give you any garentee on things you buy from there ? . any advice would be helpfull many thanks

not overly familiar with bowlers but from what ive been told its more if ur gonna build your own, is this waht you want to do or are you after something that is prebuilt?

also how important is a flat screen as it will take up a fair bit ov ur bucget from wot ive seen
