My experience with KVCD's is that the player compatibility is pretty limited, if you have an image file with the film in just burn that straight or if its simply the kvcd file itself burn as VCD with nero and try it on a PC. If it works that way and doesnt work on your player then thats the problem

Taken from the UKB-kvcd website:
To burn to disc using Nero just right click on the cue file which
will be the smallest of the 2 then choose Open With and browse to
your Nero.exe (possibly just called Nero) file. (Located in Program
Files / Ahead / Nero folder) Ensure the *Always use the selected
program to open this type of file* box is ticked, this way next time
all you have to do is double click the cue file and the burning
interface will open, now choose which speed you would like to burn
your disc at. It's recommended to burn at no more than 8x, if you
burn at a faster speed this may impair the quality and make the
video pixelated.

Kvcd's usually come in bin and cue files, but I wouldnt
use nero for this as nero is quite tempremental with
bin and cue files,
you could try alcohol ,works every time

kvcd`s just make it possible to get a movie on 1 cd , but its basically just like a vcd , so your dvd player has to player vcd`s .
