CD & DVD burning a dvd

i downloaded a film and tried to burn it to disk which burnt ok when i put it in dvd player it comes up with files
the film i downloaded comes up as a
dvdrip how do i burn this to disk and be able to watch with player it plays brill on my pc and the picture is 100%

What kind of file is it. you will need to covert it to DVD for it to play unless you can burn it as an VCD (700Mb max)

I use Winavi to convert (See attached for instructions)

There is a program called VSO convert X to DVD. It's a good easy to use program. You can add more than one avi file and it will join them for you.

it is a torrent that i got m8 not sure if this makes a difference at the mo am trying your other idea thanks your a star

ok sorted m8 converted and burnt but win avi puts a tag on sceen when coverted lol never straight forward lol

Aye, you'll need to get a "cough cough" version so that it's clean
