RANGERS midfielder Kevin Thomson and Motherwell striker Ross McCormack have been drafted into the Scotland squad for the friendly against the Czech Republic in Prague on Friday, May 30.

Also included is West Brom midfielder Jim Morrison. His only previous call-up was for the friendly with South Africa at Pittodrie last August, but he pulled out injured.

George Burley is using the Czech game as a warm-up for the World Cup qualifiers which start in September with a trip to Macedonia.

Allan McGregor, Barry Ferguson, Lee McCulloch and David Weir have been omitted as has Scott Brown.

The squad is:
