box sticking on boot up

I bought a faulty dbox2 sagem 2x as a wee project for £20. but ive left all the hard work to a m8 just now. it came with next gen image on it and was sticking, not booting up any further than the next gen logo. flashed the box with sporster and box is doing the same thing not moving past sporster logo screen. any help appreciated people or is the big blue bin lookin good.

You say it was faulty, what was the fault and have you actually fixed it ??

dont know what the faulty is. i thought it might just have needed flashed with another image but that has not worked.

who did you buy the box from, if they have sold a few boxes then I would suggest that if it was easy to fix they would have tried to fix it. Are you sure its a 2x box. Try flashing a few older images and or re-flashing boot loader.

yea it was a chance i took for £20. But me and my m8 have not been able to diagnose the problem. checked solderings etc but was just wondering what other people have done if they have been in this situation.

have you re-flashed boot loader ?

Check the boot log and forget the bootloader.
