box displaying er 11 and then er 16 and then er 12

hello everyone.

i was just watching cable and all of a sudden the box went dead. my brothers is still working, but when i re-booted it, it comes up with er 11 first and then er 16 and now it shows er 12. what is going on here? can anyone shed some light on this. can anyone tell me what to do here. my internet connection is still up no problems there and like i said so is my brothers working. i am in the telewest area
